Terrence J. Fitzgibbons, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Terrence J. Fitzgibbons, M.D., F.A.C.S. graduated from Creighton University School of Medicine in 1975. He then trained at the University of Southern California (USC) in general surgery 1975-1981 and vascular surgery in 1982. Since then he has practiced general and vascular surgery at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles. He has been Chairman of the Department of Surgery there since 1998.

Recently Dr. Fitzgibbons has focused more on vascular surgery. He has become quite interested in minimally invasive varicose vein treatment such as EVLT (Endovascular Laser Treatment.) He has a long-standing venous practice dating to his association with Nathan Sapiro, M.D. starting in 1984. He now provides a full venous practice including in-office duplex ultrasound, laser, injection sclero therapy, and stab phlebectomy. His vascular surgery expertise is invaluable in combined arterial and venous disease.

Dr. Fitzgibbons is a faculty member of the USC Department of Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also a member of numerous professional societies including the Society of Clinical Vascular Surgery, Southern California Vascular Society, and the American College of Phlebology.
